PRESIDENT - MICHELE SCHMIDT

   Michele was born in Prelate, Saskatchewan and graduated for Leader High School in 1980.
    Michele began her career in municipal government in April, 1986 when she accepted the position of Part Time Clerk with the Town of Leader and in August 1986 accepted the Assistant Administrator's position with the Town of Leader. Michele enrolled in the Junior Local Government Administration Program shortly after beginning her employment with the Town of Leader and successful completed the course and received her Class "C" certificate in December, 1988. November 1997
    Michele accepted the position of Administrator for the R.M. of Newcombe No. 260 and the Village of Glidden. April 2000 Michele returned to the Town of Leader as the Administrator.
    Michele is a very community minded individual and has been part of many organizations and boards over the years. Michele's favorite pass time is curling, need it be watching or participating. Michele and her husband Allen make their home in Leader and have two children - Cody and Niko.
